Asian Kabaddi Championship 2023:
The Indian Kabaddi team has won the Asian Kabaddi Championship title by defeating Iran. India has done this amazing thing by defeating the Iranian team twice in two days. India defeated Iran 42-32 in the final.
In this high-voltage final, India dominated the first half 23-11. But Iran then came back motivated in the second half due to the fine play of their captain Mohammadreza Shadalui Chayaneh to reduce the gap considerably.

But it was a last-minute mistake by Shadalooi that helped India lift the title without any problems. Leading from the front, India’s star and team captain Pawan Sehrawat grabbed the bulk of the points against the opposition and played a key role in the victory.
At one stage, with two minutes left in the game, Iran cut India’s lead to 38-31 and brought the game into suspense. Earlier in the day, India had thrashed Hong Kong by a huge margin of 64-20 and finished the league stage unbeaten.
