Wimbledon 2023: Czech Republic’s Marketa Vondrousova created history, won the women’s singles title

Wimbledon 2023Czech Republic player created history in women’s singles event at Wimbledon. Marketa Vondrousova defeated the Tunisian player to win the title. Ons Zebeur was playing in front of Vondrousova. Vondrousova defeated her in straight sets.

Seeded sixth, Zebeur was unable to break serve and that turned out to be the main reason for her defeat. She was able to crack the serve only four out of 10 times. Zebur reached the final of Wimbledon for the second year in a row but missed out on winning the title.
