The time has come for the third Grand Slam of this year. The 136th edition of Wimbledon begins today, July 3, in London, which will be played at the All England Club. One significant change at Wimbledon this year will see the return of players from Russia and Belarus. He was banned by the All England Club a year earlier because of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine with the help of Belarus in February 2022.
Actually, four Grand Slams are held every year in tennis. It starts with the Australian Open in January. This is followed by the French Open in May and June, and Wimbledon in July, which is played on grass courts. The US Open is held in August-September, which is the last Grand Slam of the year.
