AAP announces 5 names from Punjab for Rajya Sabha, Harbhajan-Raghav Chadha’s name included

New Delhi, March 21: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced five names from Punjab for the Rajya Sabha elections after winning a massive victory in the Punjab Assembly elections. The names of cricketer Harbhajan Singh, Delhi MLA and Punjab co-in-charge Raghav Chadha, Dr. Sandeep Pathak, Sanjeev Arora and Lovely Professional University’s Chancellor Ashok Mittal are included in the Rajya Sabha elections. It is worth noting that the five Rajya Sabha seats for which elections will be held in Punjab are going to fall vacant next month. Today is the last day for filing nominations for the Rajya Sabha elections.

Let us tell you that Sandeep Pathak, a resident of Mungeli district of Chhattisgarh, is a professor in Delhi IIT and he has also lived in London for some time. Sandeep Pathak was instrumental in making the strategy of the Aam Aadmi Party for the Punjab Assembly elections. At the same time, Raghav Chadha is the Aam Aadmi Party’s MLA from Delhi’s Rajendra Nagar assembly seat as well as the Deputy Chairman of Delhi Jal Board. Apart from these, Sanjeev Arora is the founder of Krishna Pran Breast Cancer Care Charitable Trust, who has been nominated as a Rajya Sabha candidate by the Aam Aadmi Party.

Significantly, in the Punjab Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party won 92 out of 117 seats.
