After killing of TMC leader, mob allegedly set fire to several houses, 10 people died

Kolkata. Around 10-12 houses were torched in West Bengal’s Birbhum district late on Monday night. During this 10 people have died. Police have recovered 7 bodies from the same house. Following the killing of the TMC leader, houses were allegedly set on fire by a mob in Birbhum and people died. According to sources, this heinous incident has been carried out to avenge the murder of the TMC leader.
After the incident of arson, fire brigade vehicles have reached the spot. Along with this, many senior officers including DM of the district have also reached the spot. At the same time, the police has started investigating the matter. This incident of arson is from Rampurhat area of Birbhum district. According to police officials, the doors of 5 houses were set on fire, in which 7 people died on the spot.
