Hasaranga ended his brilliant spell with 4 wickets, conceding just 20 runs in his 4 overs, also claiming his Purple Cap.

After the match, he also revealed the reason behind the unique celebration. The Sri Lankan international said his celebrations were inspired by Paris Saint-Germain FC superstar Neymar Jr.

Talking about the game, he said, “I got out after scoring only four runs. I am really happy. It is very tough to bowl especially with dew. My favorite footballer is Neymar and that is his celebration style which is very good. I do. I don’t take any pressure when I go to play. That’s why I think I get success.”
