America angry with India’s talks with Russia, said- it is very disappointing

America is not liking India‘s talks with Russia amid the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. The US has publicly expressed displeasure about this. The US has particularly criticized India for considering Russia’s proposal that would weaken sanctions imposed by the US and its allies. Apart from America, Australia has also criticized India’s stand. Both countries have criticized India’s stand as very disappointing.
According to a report, US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo has said that this is the time when the world, together with America and other countries, should stand up for the democracy and sovereignty of Ukraine. This is not the time to help President Putin with the war. Australia’s Trade Minister Dan Tehan also reiterated this. Both expressed their disappointment with India’s rush. Let us tell you that after the attack on Ukraine, America and the West have imposed many sanctions on Russia. At the same time, India has maintained its relations with Russia as before, without taking any side.
Russian Foreign Minister has also reached India
Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov also reached India on Thursday evening. Lavrov will be visiting India for two days from March 31 to April 1. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will meet several politicians including India’s Foreign Minister Dr S Jaishankar. During this, Lavrov can also talk about India’s purchase of crude oil from Russia and bilateral trade. This is Lavrov’s first visit to India since Russia’s attack on Ukraine on February 24.
