How to Clean the Trash in Google Photos
step 1: To clean up your deleted photos and videos, first, launch the Google Photos app on your Android phone.
Step 2: In the bottom bar of the photo, tap “Library”.
Step 3: On the “Library” screen, at the top, tap “Trash.”
Step 4: On the “Trash” page, in the upper-right corner, tap the three dots.
Step 5: From the menu with the three dots, select “Empty Trash”.
Step 6: At the prompt, select “Allow” to confirm your choice.
Caution: Keep in mind that after this you will not be able to recover your files again.
Step 7: Google Photos will then permanently remove everything from the Trash.
How to Clean Up the Trash in Files By Google
step 1: If you use Files by Google as your file manager and you want to clear the Trash, first, launch the Files by Google app on your phone.
Step 2: When the app launches, in the top-left corner, tap the hamburger menu.
Step 3: In the menu that opens, select “Trash”.
Step 4: On the “Trash” page, your deleted files will appear. Here, select “All Items” to select all your files. Then, at the bottom, tap “Delete”.
Step 4: Then in the prompt, tap “Delete”.
Caution: Keep in mind that after this you will not be able to recover your files again.
Step 5: In this way all the files trashed in Files By Google will be deleted.
However, at present, smartphones of many brands are also giving the feature of trash separately. Like OnePlus and Redmi phones have a feature to trash recently deleted files.
How to Empty Trash Files in OnePlus
step 1: First of all, you have to open the Gallery app on your OnePlus phone.
Step 2: Now scroll down.
Step 3: After this, here you will see the option of “Recently Deleted”. Click on it.
Step 4: Now if you want, you can delete all at once and also delete one by one. Click the brush above to remove them all at once.
Step 5: Doing so will permanently delete all trashed files.
