Mumbai, March 22: The second bad news has come within the last 24 hours from the film city of Mumbai. Rapper Dharmesh Parmar, who lent his voice for the soundtrack of Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh’s film Gully Boy, has passed away. Dharmesh Parmar was also known in the film industry as rapper MC Todd Phod. There is an atmosphere of shock in Bollywood due to the news of the death of Dharmesh Parmar, just 24 years old. On his death, Ranveer Singh and actor Siddhant Chaturvedi have expressed their grief by writing a post on social media.

Dharmesh Parmar was associated with Mumbai-based hip-hop band ‘Swadeshi Moment’ and was among over 50 rappers who lent their voices for the film Gully Boy, directed by Zoya Akhtar. The cause of Dharmesh Parmar’s death is yet to be ascertained. Actor Ranveer Singh wrote, ‘Heartbroken…’, remembering Dharmesh Parmar in his Instagram story.

At the same time, Siddhant Chaturvedi has also shared screen shots of his conversation with rapper MC Todd Pod. Siddhant Chaturvedi wrote, ‘May God rest your soul brother…’.
