Sanchi Milk, a company that manufactures and supplies milk on a large scale in Madhya Pradesh, on Sunday announced that it is increasing the price of milk by Rs 4 per litre. After this increase, now Sanchi milk will be available at the rate of Rs 57 per liter and the increased prices will be applicable from Monday. The ‘Sanchi Milk Co-Operative Federation’ in its statement said that the increased prices would be applicable to all brands under Sanchi Milk and Chhan Milk.

In an official statement, Bhopal Milk Union said, “For customers who have paid in advance for milk from March 16 to April 15, the increased prices will be deemed to be applicable from April 16.” Whereas, milk will be sold to all other customers on the basis of new prices from the morning of March 21.

After the implementation of the new prices, a half-liter full cream gold packet of milk will cost Rs 29 and a liter of Rs 57. Earlier, the cost of half a liter of milk was Rs 27 and a liter of milk was Rs 53. Apart from this, a packet of half liter ‘Shakti Doodh’, which was earlier available for Rs 25, will now be available for Rs 27. At the same time, the cost of a half liter packet of toned milk will now be Rs 24 and that of double toned milk will be Rs 22. The increased milk prices will be applicable in all districts of Madhya Pradesh including Indore.
