The Asus VivoBook Pro 14 OLED is a slim and lightweight laptop, weighing just 1.45 kg. The laptop is sleek too, and can easily fit inside any bag for easy portability. I have used a few Asus laptops, and this time around, the brand has embossed the ‘VivoBook’ branding on the top cover.
The new laptop comes with narrow bezels, which provide an immersive experience with a large screen real-estate. Asus has included the privacy shutter for the new laptop, which is a plus point for the user.

The new Asus VivoBook Pro 14 OLED comes with a 14-inch OLED display, which is its name, display 2.8K (2880 x 1800) resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, 0.2ms response time, 90Hz refresh rate, 600nits HDR peak brightness , and DCI-P3: 100 percent. The display HDR True Black 600 supports 1.07 billion colors.

Asus VivoBook Pro 14 OLED Review: Keyboard and Trackpad
The trackpad and keyboard are other highlights on the Asus VivoBook Pro 14 OLED. I have used the keyboard without any hiccups. Plus, the fingerprint sensor is embedded along with the power button, making it easy to sign in.

Asus VivoBook Pro 14 OLED Review: Performance Benchmark Evaluation
The laptop draws power from an AMD Ryzen 5 5600H processor with 3.30 GHz base frequency and 4242 MHz maximum frequency. The processor comes with in-built AMD Radeon graphics.
Firstly, the Asus VivoBook Pro 5 OLED on the Geekbench platform scored 1385 and 6152 points respectively in the single-core and multi-core tests. The CPU-Z benchmarks revealed 580 and 4253 scores in single-core and multi-core testing, respectively. Also, I did Cinebench R23 testing where the laptop scored 1365 and 8547 in single-core and multi-core testing.
I also had to determine the graphics performance on the Asus VivoBook Pro 14 OLED. For the same, I ran the 3D Mark benchmark where the laptop scored an overall score of 1248 with 1099 graphics score and 5395 CPU score. Also, the PC Mark 10 benchmark revealed a score of 5626, with 9305 in Essentials, 8752 in Productivity and 5934 in Digital Content Creation.
Asus VivoBook Pro 14 OLED Review: Real-Life Performance
The benchmarks reveal that the Asus VivoBook Pro 14 OLED is a powerful laptop with excellent performance. Keeping benchmarks aside, let’s take a look at real life performance. Like I said, I’ve been using the Asus VivoBook Pro 14 OLED for a while now, and overall the performance is decent. I use it for a wide range of both personal and work-related activities. Streaming movies on the OLED display was absolutely fun, and it was one of the best experiences ever.
I also participated in a few video calls on the Asus VivoBook Pro 14 OLED, and it was good too. The privacy shutter on the camera is a bonus that can’t be overlooked. Apart from these, I used Asus laptop for routine tasks like file creation, mailing, browsing etc.
However, I found the laptop to suffer slight glitches. I also encountered some glitches on apps like Microsoft Word and Google Chrome. It took a little longer for Chrome to open a new Word file or for Chrome to respond, even with the latest versions of all apps.
Asus VivoBook Pro 14 OLED Review: Battery, With Fast Charging
Another feature that I liked about the Asus VivoBook Pro 14 OLED is the battery. Asus has included a 65Wh battery with a 90W fast charging adapter. When I used to use the laptop for work, the laptop would easily last for five-six hours. I also felt that I could watch Netflix for four hours on a full charge.
Asus VivoBook Pro 14 OLED Review: Verdict
There are many options in the Indian laptop market today, which can also confuse the buyer. If you’re looking for a laptop where you’ll be watching a lot of content, the Asus VivoBook Pro 14 OLED is a good choice. Whether it’s online classes, video conferences, or anything else – OLED displays are a great option for you.
But if you want a touchscreen display and even better performance, then you should look at any other laptop in the market for this.
