Auto Sales: Sales of passenger vehicles, two-wheelers fell in March, due to these reasons there was a decline in sales

new Delhi. The month of March was not good for the automobile sector of India. The impact of the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine was seen on this sector. The data released by the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA), an organization of the automobile industry, is worrying, according to which there has been a big decline in the sales of passenger vehicles, two wheelers in India in March.

According to the released data, there has been the biggest decline in the sale of two wheelers in March. Total retail sales declined by 3 per cent in the month of March this year. According to the report, the sale of passenger vehicles in March 2021 was 2,85,240 units, which fell this year. On the other hand, the two wheeler sale declined to 11,57,681 units. While sales of commercial vehicles fell by 14.91 per cent to 77938 units. Talking about three wheelers, there has been an increase in MICE and it was 48284 units in March 2022 with a growth of 26.61 percent as compared to March 2021.
