There is a demand to remove the dowry system from the Nursing Council syllabus. Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi has shared a picture of a page of the book, in which the benefits and harms of dowry have been mentioned. He has said that it is a shame that such books are now being given a place in the curriculum. Priyanka Chaturvedi has urged Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to remove this book from circulation.
