Kolkata, May 5: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has said that the law and order and women’s safety situation in her state is better than other states. Referring to the crimes being committed against women especially in Uttar Pradesh, he said that if girls in UP go to the police seeking justice, then the blame is put on the victim.

Speaking at an event in Kolkata, Mamta Banerjee said, in Bengal we do not do the work of blaming the victim like in UP. We don’t even spare our boys and girls (party workers) if they are guilty. Although there are some who keep trying to defame our government by making fake videos viral, but we are busy working for our people.

TMC chief Mamata Banerjee said that our government has completed 11 years in West Bengal. If anyone has the guts, they can challenge me to talk at work. What I have done in these 11 years is in front of everyone. There is no use talking, misleading and conspiring against me. If you can talk at work, you can come and do it.

don’t care what others say

Mamta Banerjee said, I do not care what others say about me. I care about my people and work for them. Many people are trying to divide but we celebrate all festivals together. Those who celebrate Durga Puja here also celebrate Eid. She said that I once again take an oath in front of my mothers and sisters that as long as I am, I will continue to work for Bengal. Our state Bengal will work to show the way to India.
