Chandigarh, May 27: By-election is going to be held in Sangrur Lok Sabha seat of Punjab. Aam Aadmi Party has geared up for this by-election. Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann himself will take charge of the campaign campaign of Aad Aadmi Party in this election. The Sangrur Lok Sabha seat fell vacant only after Bhagwant Mann resigned.
Sangrur Lok Sabha by-election is very important for the Aam Aadmi Party. Sangrur is a stronghold of Aam Aadmi Party. Apart from CM Bhagwant Mann, two ministers of the AAP government come from Sangrur Lok Sabha constituency. Bhagwant Mann himself has managed to win the elections twice from the Sangrur Lok Sabha seat for two consecutive terms.
The Aam Aadmi Party has not yet announced the name of the candidate for the by-election to be held in Sangrur, but the list of candidates within the Aam Aadmi Party is getting longer. Comedian Karmjeet Anmol and a police officer are in the race to get tickets. Apart from this, Bhagwant Mann’s sister Manpreet Kaur has also joined the contenders.
