The government has increased the DA by 3 percent, after which now the employees will also get 3 months arrears.

Increase in TA and CA

Along with dearness allowance, the travel allowance and city allowance of government employees will also increase. The government has cleared the way for revising these allowances by increasing the DA. If the increase in these allowances is announced, then there will be a big increase in the salary of the employees. The government can also increase the Provident Fund and Gratuity of the employees. Let us tell you that PF and gratuity are calculated on the basis of basic salary and DA of the employees. That is, if your DA increases, then there will be changes in your PF and Gratuity also.

Benefit in HRA

At the same time, due to the increase in DA, it has been decided to increase the House Rent Allowance (HRA) and Travel Allowance (TA) of the central employees. That is, after the increase in DA, there will be an increase in four allowances of government employees. After this announcement, 50 lakh employees and 65 lakh pensioners will get the benefit. However, this decision will increase the annual burden of 9455.50 crore on the exchequer.
