Bihar: RJD leader shot dead in Gopalganj, was close to Tejashwi

Gopalganj, May 13: RJD leader Dr Ram Iqbal Yadav was shot dead by miscreants in Gopalganj, Bihar. Ram Iqbal Yadav was considered very close to Tejashwi Yadav. It is being told that Ram Iqbal Yadav was returning from a wedding ceremony when the miscreants ambushed him.

The incident took place near the house of RJD leader located in Rajghat village of Mirganj police station area. Unknown miscreants riding bikes opened fire and killed them. According to locals, Dr. Ram Iqbal Yadav died on the spot itself. Police reached the spot after getting information about the incident. The police sent the body of Dr. Ram Iqbal Yadav to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

Ram Iqbal Yadav was the president of the student wing of Saran division. He was considered very close to Tejashwi Yadav. Relatives told that Dr. Ram Iqbal Yadav was returning home last night after attending the wedding ceremony on a bike. Meanwhile, the criminals who were already ambushed opened fire near the house and opened fire. After the incident, they fled after firing in the air. After investigating the whole matter, the police has started raids to arrest the criminals.
