Who is Sarita Mali
Originally from Jaunpur, the family of Sarita Mali lives in Mumbai. 28-year-old Sarita’s father had come to Mumbai in search of work. By working there, he somehow feeds the family. In the year 2014, Sarita got admission in Jawaharlal University of Delhi, after which her world changed. Sarita herself tells that after coming to JNU, the attitude about the country and the world changed. He wrote that JNU’s brilliant academic world, teachers and progressive student politics taught me to understand the country in the true sense and changed my perspective of looking at society. Sarita has been offered fellowship by two universities of America. She has been offered fellowships from the University of California and the University of Washington, but Sarita chose the University of California.
