The state government informed that by increasing the existing dearness allowance of the employees, it has been increased from 24.50% to 27.25%. The government has decided to increase it from January 1, 2022. Information was made about this by tweeting on behalf of the state government, according to which the benefit of increase in dearness allowance will be given to those state employees who are working in government offices, aided educational institutions etc. At the same time, its benefit will be applicable to government teachers, Jia Panchayats, regular employees, employees working in the university.

At the same time, the DA hike for UGC, AICTE and ICAR pay scale employees will be announced later. The government has also increased dearness relief to the employees as well as the pensioners.
