Rajkot, The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is also preparing vigorously for the Gujarat Assembly elections to be held this year. Today “AAP” supremo and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is coming here. His first election public meeting will be in Rajkot. Earlier, Kejriwal had held a tribal convention in Bharuch. Where he formed an alliance with Aam Bhartiya Tribal Party for the sake of tribal vote bank.

Now information has been received from the Gujarat unit of Aam Aadmi Party that Arvind Kejriwal will address the public meeting at Shastri Maidan in Rajkot as well as meet the representatives of many social organizations and discuss the related issues. Sources associated with AAP say that Arvind Kejriwal is constantly trying to strengthen the party unit in view of his Gujarat tour. Arvind Kejriwal seems ready to give a tough fight to the BJP in the upcoming Gujarat Assembly elections. He is also seeing himself as an alternative to the Congress.
Kejriwal will stay in Rajkot only
Aam Aadmi Party state convener Gopal Italia has said that his party is getting a lot of response in Gujarat. BJP leaders are scared of the Aam Aadmi Party in Gujarat and that is why they are doing things like tearing posters. With this, Gopal Italia has demanded special protection from the district and state administration, expressing the possibility of an attack on Arvind Kejriwal. He has accused the BJP and its workers of tearing the posters of Arvind Kejriwal. He told that, during his one-day Gujarat tour, Kejriwal will stay in Rajkot on May 11. After that, he will have to leave for Delhi the next day.

In Gujarat, AAP leaders had announced some time back that they would take out a tricolor yatra every day. He had said that taking out the tricolor yatra is not a crime, and if the BJP government also registers a case, then they will not be afraid of cases.
Election is to be held on 182 seats here
Elections will be held in Gujarat in December this year. So far, elections have been held in 5 states of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur.
