Demand to postpone NEET PG 2022 exam, IMA writes to Health Minister to change the date

New Delhi. There has been a demand for change in the dates of NEET PG exam 2022 to be held on May 21 this year. Due to the demand of the students, now the Indian Medical Association (IMA) has written a letter to the Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, requesting to reschedule the exam date of NEET PG. In a letter written by the Indian Medical Association to Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, it was said that the NEET exam to be held on May 21, 2022, should be rescheduled. After which there is speculation that the exam date of NEET PG may change soon.

Registration started from 15th January
NEET exam means National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET PG). The registration process for this year started on January 15. Such candidates who want to register for the Post Graduate Medical Entrance Exam have to apply on the official website nbe.edu.in. At the same time, such examination is organized by the National Board of Examination (NBE). Its dates have been changing due to protests and other reasons. Now Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) has written to Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya requesting to postpone the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test scheduled to be held on 21st May citing delay in counseling process.

In this letter Federation of All India Medical Association has mentioned that Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) had declared Provisional Stray Vacancy as ‘null and void’ on 30th April and its results were released on 2nd May, 2022. Finally the exam date should be extended. For the past several days, many students were making such demands on social media as well.
