new Delhi. As per the recent updates, Delhi University will be hosting a ‘Job Mela’ (Placement cum Internship Fair). The fair is scheduled to start on 7th April and will end on 9th April 2022. The DU Job Fair is being organized by the Central Placement Cell (CPC), University of Delhi under the aegis of the Office of the Dean, Student Welfare, University. Employment fair will be organized in mixed form.
The Job Fair will be inaugurated on 7th April 2022 by Professor Yogesh Singh, Honorable Vice Chancellor of Delhi University. DU officials and CEOs of various companies will attend the inauguration ceremony. It aims to provide internship opportunity for first and second year students of several undergraduate courses in the university. It will also focus on providing placement opportunities for final year students of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Science (Physical, Life and Applied Sciences), Commerce, Mathematical Sciences and Social Sciences.
According to the university, so far about 45 national, multinational companies, research institutes, start-ups etc. have registered for the fair. The job fair will be conducted in blended mode i.e. both online and offline. More information about this job fair can be obtained by mailing [email protected]. This fair will also provide good employment opportunities to the students of 86 postgraduate programs of Delhi University.
