Ahead of Maharashtra assembly elections next year, a statement by BJP leader and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis has stirred political circles. Fadnavis claimed that the BJP would contest the next elections in the state under the leadership of Eknath Shinde.

In fact, the decision of the Supreme Court is going to come on Thursday on the political crisis that had arisen in Maharashtra some time ago. Opposition parties claim that Shinde will resign after the verdict. When the media asked Eknath Shinde a question regarding this, he clearly said that he would say something only after the verdict.

At the same time, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, who was present with him, defended the government and the party. He said that his government is stable in Maharashtra. Shinde will not resign. He will continue to be the Chief Minister and BJP will also contest the next elections under his leadership.

Understand the whole matter like this
In fact, Eknath Shinde rebelled against the Uddhav Thackeray-led government. After this, he formed the government in alliance with the BJP. The opposition alleges that the governor did not follow the rules during the floor test. Along with this, there is also a matter of disqualification of the MLAs.

Many petitions were filed in the Supreme Court last year regarding all this. On which the court handed over the matter to the constitution bench in August. It was heard by Chief Justice along with Justice MR Shah, Justice Krishna Murari, Justice Hima Kohli and Justice PS Narasimha.

In this case, the Supreme Court had reserved the decision, which will come on Thursday. Along with the BJP, the eyes of the opposition are also fixed on this.

Relief has been received from the Election Commission
When Shind formed the government, the matter was referred to the Election Commission, in which both the factions came face to face regarding the real Shiv Sena. Its decision had come a long time ago. The Election Commission considered the Shinde faction as the real Shiv Sena. Also he got the election symbol of bow and arrow.
