Fight in West Bengal Assembly, 5 BJP MLAs including Suvendu Adhikari suspended

Kolkata, March 28: Ever since the assembly session started in West Bengal, there have been continuous reports of uproar. Now the matter has reached to the fight inside the house. There was a clash between the BJP and TMC MLAs inside the assembly, after which the MLAs of both the parties started fighting fiercely. According to the information, there has been a fight between BJP MLA Manoj Tigga and TMC MLA Asit Majumdar in the assembly. At the same time, after this incident, 5 BJP MLAs including Suvendu Adhikari have been suspended from the assembly till further notice.

Fighting on the last day of the assembly

The opposition party is continuously protesting on many issues inside the assembly. In such a situation, on the last day of the session on Monday, the matter of Birbhum massacre got heated. BJP MLA created ruckus inside the assembly against TMC and Mamata Banerjee’s government. There they got down on the bell and started shouting slogans. Seeing the BJP MLAs, TMC MLAs also came in bail, after which the MLAs of both the parties clashed with each other.

Uproar over Birbhum violence case

On the other hand, Leader of Opposition in Bengal Legislative Assembly Shubhendu Adhikari said that the opposition demanded a discussion on law and order at least on the last day, the government refused. He alleged that they brought Kolkata Police personnel in civil dress to quarrel with our 8-10 MLAs. He further said that the same situation in Rampurhat incident created by Anarul Hussain was witnessed by TMC MLAs and their police inside. We will march against it today. I will write my complaint to the Speaker, demanding action as per rules. We need the intervention of the Centre.

TMC MLAs accused of pushing

Earlier, after the alleged assault, BJP MLAs came out of the assembly and started shouting slogans accusing the Mamta government. The BJP said that they wanted a discussion on the Birbhum issue, which was followed by an uproar by TMC MLAs and thrashing them. BJP MLA Manoj Tigga alleged that TMC MLAs beat him up and even tore his shirt.

At the same time, 5 BJP MLAs including Suvendu Adhikari have been suspended from the assembly till further notice following a clash between TMC and BJP MLAs in the House over Birbhum violence.
