Yes, Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) gives a new card to the Aadhar card holder. There is a small cost for this. But with the new Aadhar card you get the reprinted version. You have to apply to get a new Aadhar card. Today we will tell you that if your Aadhar card is lost then how can you apply for a new Aadhar card.

Follow these steps to get a new Aadhar card-

step 1: First of all login to the UIDAI website.

Step 2: After that click on the option of Retrieve lost or forgotten EID/UID.

Step 3: A new page will open in front of you. Fill your details here. After filling your Aadhaar No (UID) / Enrollment ID (EID), Full Name, Mobile Number (Registered) or Email ID, enter Captcha Verification.

Step 4: After this you can click to send OTP or enter TOTP. Explain that the OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number of the user. Whereas for TOTP the user will get Time-Based-One-Time-Password with the help of mAADHAAR app.

Step 5: Fill all the required details. After that you will directly reach the payment gateway page. Here you will be asked to pay Rs 50.

Step 6: After this, the Aadhar card will be printed and you will get it in the next 15 days.

Let us tell you that along with applying for a new Aadhaar, if you want to change the address of the Aadhar card, then you can do it through online or by visiting the Aadhar center. To change the address, you can use any of the documents listed on the UIDAI website.
