New Delhi, 21 March. Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad has indicated his retirement from politics. She has brought allegations on the political parties that they work to divide the society. Whereas civil society has a very important contribution in difficult times. He said that I often think that after retiring from politics, I should engage in social service. Addressing the people of civil society, Azad said that we have to bring change in a society, sometimes I think and it is not a big deal that suddenly you understand that we have retired and engaged in social service. He said that I will not give a political speech because politics in India has become so dirty that people sometimes doubt whether we are even human or not.
Azad said that the work of political parties is to divide people in the name of caste, religion at all times. All teams do this. Whereas civil society has to be given direction, there is no point in voting for it. We can do the same by living with love. Acharya Kripalani and his wife used to work for a different party during the day but Mrs. Kripalani used to give food during the night, she used to run the house, but the political party is different. Can’t we do this with our parties? We give our parties to our respective parties but we get together in marriage, marriage, death. Come to each other’s house. Can’t we collect this? Is this not our work of development, is it not our job to pay tax, is it not an industry, then we all should rise up and raise our voice, this is not our job, injustice should be done to the people of any religion and caste, is it not our job that We will not allow injustice to happen.
One such incident happened that a Gurjar girl was raped and killed. When they went to capture him, political parties tried to save him. But Hindustan stood, not the Muslims of India, because the Muslims of India do not know that Gurjar Muslims are tribals. Gurjar Muslims are all over India, Jammu and Kashmir and Amethi and nowhere else. Hindus, Sikhs, Christians from all over the country stood up for them. Jammu should be like this, it should be with Dalit, it should be with Hindu, it should be with Pandit. If only Sikh will stand for Sikh then how many Sikhs are there who will listen to them. It is not a big deal that you suddenly understand that we have retired and engaged in social service.
