On May 5, there is a tremendous jump in the price of gold and silver in the bullion markets. In one stroke, the price of gold increased by Rs 565, while silver jumped by Rs 1122. If we look at today’s condition in the bullion markets, then the price of 24-carat gold has reached Rs 51620, while the price of 99.9 percent pure silver has reached Rs 63660 per kg.

Even though the price of gold is increasing, but gold is still selling at Rs 4506 cheaper than its all time. In August 2020, gold had reached an all-time high price of Rs 56264. Compared to this price, gold is now selling cheaper by Rs 4506. On the other hand, silver is running cheaper by Rs 12,340 from its all-time high.

Looking at the spot rate of gold issued by the India Bullion Association, the price of 24-carat gold has reached Rs 53168 per 10 grams with GST. At the same time, the price of 23 carat gold has reached Rs 51413 per 10 grams. The price of 22 carat gold has reached Rs 47284 per 10 grams in the bullion market today, while the price of 18 carat gold has reached Rs 49876 per 10 grams including GST. Apart from this, the price of 14 carat gold has reached Rs 30,198 per 10 grams.
