Har Ghar Tricolor Campaign: 4,000 women of Odisha are preparing 30 lakh tricolors

Bhubaneswar, Aug 08: The tricolor will be hoisted from house to house to celebrate the 75th year of India’s independence. The women of Odisha are preparing 30 lakh flags for the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign launched by the Centre. These women who prepared the tricolor flag belong to 300 Self Help Groups (SHGs) of Odisha. 4,000 women members of these aid groups are engaged in stitching three million tricolours.

This project has not only given him a unique opportunity to earn prestige but he has also instilled a sense of patriotism. Self-help groups have already sent them to different corners of the state and are working hard to meet the target by August 10.

Assessing the demand, Mission Shakti SHGs have come forward to sew 30 lakh flags. The members have risen to the occasion and are ready to take it up as a challenge voluntarily.
