On Wednesday, a bench of Supreme Court Justice Vineet Saran and Justice JK Maheshwari issued an interim order to stay the Haryana Judicial Services Examination. Now the next hearing of this matter will be on 9 May. In such a situation, the Haryana-Punjab High Court has asked the lawyer to take instructions and tell on which date the examination can be conducted next. The court should be assisted in announcing the new dates.

The Punjab-Haryana High Court has said that all the candidates who were to appear in the Haryana Judicial Services Mains Examination are advised to keep an eye on the website in the coming days.

The examinations are conducted by the Haryana Public Service Commission and supervised by a selection committee headed by a High Court judge. The apex court’s order came during the hearing of a petition filed by 40 candidates. These 40 candidates had demanded that the dates of Haryana examinations should be extended due to the clash of dates of both the examinations of Haryana and Madhya Pradesh.
