Dravid used to talk to Manoj Badale and the groundman in the same way

Dravid was once a part of the Rajasthan Royals set-up. Samson then came in contact with Dravid. Samson spoke about India’s current head coach Rahul Dravid on a show by Gaurav Kapoor. Samson said, “When Rahul Dravid was with the Royals, we always used to see him. Our owner is Mr. Manoj Badale. Dravid used to talk to Manoj Badale and the ground staff in the same way. This is the biggest thing I learned from him.

“He actually used to do it. He didn’t do it for appearances. Samson spoke about his experiences with Dravid even during his Delhi Daredevils days.”

We were all looking to learn something from Dravid: Samson

Samson said that after two years he went to Delhi and Dravid was there in the role of coach. At that time I was with Karun Nair, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant and Mayank Agarwal and we were all looking forward to learn something from Dravid.

The team of Rajasthan Royals is currently ranked number three in IPL 2022 and they have 12 points from 10 matches. However, the race to the playoffs is not easy as three or four teams are in a close race to get there.

The Rajasthan Royals team, however, is full of flaws as they rely heavily on Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson to bat. Though the bowling is good but consistency is less.

Jos Buttler has scored 588 runs in 10 matches. Sanju Samson has scored 298 runs in 10 matches. More is needed from them. Yuzvendra Chahal has taken 19 wickets in 10 matches in bowling. Famous Krishna has taken 12 wickets in the same number of matches.

Rajasthan Royals next match against Punjab Kings on 7th May. This will be the 52nd match of the IPL.
