How to Add Music to Your Instagram Story
Unlike Instagram reels and posts, Stories are an instant glimpse of your life that disappears 24 hours after posting. It can be photos or short videos that appear in slide show format. You can view your story or someone else’s story by tapping the profile icon in the bar at the top of your feed.
Although Instagram Stories can be up to 15 seconds long, you can make the most of them by adding a song of your choice. To add music to your Instagram Story, you’ll need to do this.
Step 1. Open Instagram App on your smartphone.
Step 2. Swipe left on the homepage to go to Stories. Alternatively, you can tap on ‘Your Story’ at the top.
Step 3. Snap a picture by pressing the shutter button or long press to make a video.
Step 6. Drag the bar at the bottom to select the segment of music that will accompany your Instagram Story.
Step 7. Now you have to tap on Done in the top right corner.
Step 8. To share the story, you have to tap on Your Story option at the bottom.
You can also add Instagram Music Story from Spotify, Apple Music, Shazam, Soundcloud and other supported apps. To do so, locate the Share option while the song is playing in the music streaming app and select Instagram.
