How to make your Android phone a TV remote
1 – First of all open Google Play Store and install Google TV app.
2 – Confirm that your TV and phone are on the same Wi-Fi network. If your TV doesn’t have Wi-Fi, you can also use Bluetooth to connect your phone and TV.
3 – Open the Google TV app . Once the app opens, tap on the Remote button in the bottom right corner.
The app will start scanning for devices. Once your TV is found, select it from the list.
4 – A code will appear on your TV screen. Enter the code in the app and tap Pair.
5 – Once your phone is paired with your TV, you can use it to control the TV just like you would a regular remote.
How to turn your iPhone into a TV remote, here’s how
1 – First of all make sure that your iPhone and TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
2 – Now download and install the Google TV app from the App Store.
3 – Open the Google TV app on your iPhone.
4 – Tap on the TV remote icon at the bottom right corner of the screen.
5 – The app will automatically start searching for your TV. If it doesn’t find your TV, tap the Scan for devices button.
6 – Once your TV is found, select it and enter the 6 digit code displayed on your TV screen.
7 – Tap Pair to connect your iPhone to your TV.
