You can easily delete Gmail account from any Android smartphone. However, it is important to note that if you remove the Google Account used to sign in, all your details will be removed from the Android smartphone.
1 – First of all open the Settings and then go to the Accounts section.
2 – Search for the Google Account you want to remove and then tap on it.
3 – Now you will see the option to delete account.
4 – If this is the only Google Account on the phone, you’ll need to enter your phone’s pattern, PIN, or password for security. Tap on it to remove it from your Android smartphone.
Now when you remove Google account from your Android smartphone, it will simply remove the access to the account from that particular device. One can add it again later by signing in to their Google Account on their Android phone.
How to close Gmail messages on Android?
If you are one of those people who do not want any notification every time there is a new mail, then you can follow these steps.
1 – First of all, open the Gmail application on your phone and tap on the hamburger icon at the top right corner.
2 – Now go to Settings and then click on the desired email that you want to mute the notification.
3 – Head towards the Notification section and tap on it. You will see three options, select None option from the list and then press OK button.
