New Delhi.
Former India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh feels that it will be at a loss if Rajasthan Royals (RR) do not manage to beat Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their last league match on Friday, May 20. Royals are currently at the third position in the points table. But they are in second place with a win with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). These two points will be crucial for them as the top two places will get an extra chance to make it to the finals.

Speaking on Star Sports, Harbhajan said, “It is a golden opportunity for Rajasthan Royals to finish in the top two and get another match to fight for the trophy. It is not easy for any team to beat Chennai Super Kings, But the Royals will be disappointed if they fail to win. They will lose Maca.” Former South Africa captain and Rajasthan opener Graeme Smith believes Jos Buttler will have to play a key role if Chennai is to be defeated. The English star currently holds the Orange Cap but hasn’t played with his bat in the last few matches.

Smith said, “Jos Buttler should look for another big innings. We have all talked about the importance of finishing in the top two and giving ourselves an extra chance to play in the knockouts. So it is for Rajasthan as well. Will be important. He has played good cricket, he has got form.” Smith also feels that the return of Shimron Hetmyer in the middle order will benefit the Royals. To this, he said, “Hetmyer is back after the birth of his first child, so that’s a good thing. They will just be hoping that they do a good job in all departments against CSK. The top two batsmen will do well to the team.” Will need to start over.”
