The new name INDIA has been given to the Grand Alliance in the Opposition General Meeting held in Bengaluru. Due to which many questions are being raised. At the same time, Sharmistha Mukherjee, daughter of veteran Congress leader and former President Pranab Mukherjee, has also raised questions.

Sharmistha Mukherjee tweeting her comment that INDIA– is a creative and buzz-worthy name. But, what will happen if this alliance fails or breaks? Will it be in the news that INDIA has failed or India is broken? The name of any party, alliance or leader should not be synonymous with the country. Our country is bigger than any individual or organization.

Let us tell you that Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, one of the strongest supporters of opposition unity, was also reportedly angry with the name of the alliance. However, his party Janata Dal (United) said that Nitish Kumar will not get upset by these small things.

BJP leaders have also objected to this name, where Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma has even added India to his Twitter profile. It is being told that BJP can run its election campaign as INDIA Vs India.

On the other hand, regarding this name, Congress sources say that this new name was suggested by Rahul Gandhi. At the same time, his name was supported by many opposition leaders including Mamta Banerjee.
