Batting first after winning the toss, India scored 188 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, West Indies team was reduced to 100 runs. India won the last match by 88 runs to win the series 4-1. In the last match of the series, regular captain Rohit Sharma rested, in such a situation, Hardik Pandya took over the command of the team.
