Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you switch from 5G to 4G network on both Android and iPhone.
How to Switch from 4G to 5G Network on Android
step – Open the ‘Settings’ app on your Android phone.
step – From the Settings menu, select ‘Connections’ and then ‘Mobile networks’.
step – In the ‘Mobile network’ menu, select ‘Network mode’.
step – You will see a list of different network modes. From the list, select ‘LTE,3G,2G (Auto Connect)’.
By following these steps, you will disable 5G network connectivity on your smartphone. Your phone will now only connect to 4G LTE or lower networks.
How to Switch from 4G to 5G Network on iPhone
step – On your iPhone, open the Settings app.
step – From the Settings menu, select ‘Cellular’.
step – In the ‘Cellular’ menu, tap on ‘Cellular data options’.
step – Next, tap on ‘Sound & data’.
step- From the list of options, select ‘LTE’ to completely disable 5G.
You also have the option to select ‘5G Auto’, which will allow your iPhone to automatically deactivate 5G when it’s not needed to save battery life. It is important to note that only the iPhone models in the iPhone 12 series support 5G.
