After that take cotton and clean the fan by taking a few drops of isopropyl alcohol on it and remove the alcohol thoroughly.

You can also use a vacuum cleaner to remove the dust and dirt blocking the fan. After this the problem of overheating can be got rid of.

2. Place the laptop on a hard and flat surface

If your laptop’s intake grille is at the bottom, an uneven surface, such as a blanket, pillow, or your lap, will obstruct its airflow. After this, the cooling system breaks down after which the laptop starts heating up.

Therefore, you can easily avoid this problem by keeping the laptop on a hard and flat surface. You can use something simple like a tray or even use one as a laptop holder or lap stand.

3. Buy a Laptop Cooler or Cooling Pad

Laptop coolers provide extra cooling. However, the wrong cooler can make your problem worse. So, before buying a cooler, you need to understand the airflow in and out of your laptop.

As you know, most laptops suck cold air from below. This makes sense because the warmer air rises upward. However, a cooler that is on the bottom of the laptop may accelerate overheating instead of cooling it down.

So if you have an intake grille at the bottom of your laptop, buy a cooler that moves the cool air upwards.

4. Do not charge the laptop throughout the day

Apart from all this, a problem can also be to charge the laptop all day, so try to remove the charging plug if not needed.
