These days this year’s Amarnath Yatra is going on, in which thousands of pilgrims are going to visit Barfani Baba. At the same time, there were reports of stone pelting on the pilgrims going on Amnath Yatra.

However, the Jammu and Kashmir administration has categorically denied any such stone-pelting incident. The video of the incident which took place between two ponywalas went viral on social media and misinformation was circulated.

The administration said the video was created and made viral with the malicious intent of creating division, disharmony among communities and disrupting peaceful pilgrimage.

Refuting claims of stone pelting at Amarnath pilgrims, the Jammu and Kashmir administration has said that an FIR will be registered against those spreading rumours.

The administration revealed that the clash took place between two groups of ponywalas. Administration officials said that the authorities are taking every step to ensure the safety of the pilgrims.

The J&K administration further said that the matter is under investigation and an FIR will be registered against those spreading rumours.
