Jio users can now get fancy mobile number, have to do this work
Fancy mobile numbers are loved by everyone and there are many reasons for this. Fancy numbers are easy to remember, they get noticed easily. We all look for a good combination of numbers while buying a new SIM card. Considering the growing demand and appeal of fancy numbers, telecom operators have expanded the ways in which customers can register an unconventional mobile number for their SIM card.
Some companies in the Indian telecom market such as Vodafone Idea and BSNL provide interested customers with a few digits in the mobile numbers of the customer’s choice. However, it is to be noted that no company provides the full mobile number of the subscribers’ choice. But Reliance Jio has come up with a slightly better offer for customers looking for a fancy mobile number.
Reliance Jio BSNL has also announced a similar service for interested postpaid customers, giving them the option of getting up to 6 digit mobile number of their choice. Interested customers can get the postpaid Jio SIM card for Rs 499 as booking fee. After successful payment of booking fee, they will get a booking code and an option to schedule a Jio agent booking.
How to book Jio postpaid mobile number, let’s know all the steps here.
1 – Firstly, navigating to the ‘Choice Number’ page on Jio’s website is a bit difficult. So instead of searching the option on the website, use your laptop, phone or tablet to search “Jio Fancy Number” on Google or any other search engine.
2 – Now click on the option “Buy mobile number of your choice”. After reaching the page, click on Get Started.
3 – Now enter your existing mobile number and click on generate OTP.
4 – On the next window, enter OTP and click on submit.
5 – In the next window enter your minimum four digits (You can enter up to 6 digits), Name and Pincode.
6 – In the next screen, select your number from the given options.
7 – Click Book next to the number of your choice.
8 – Make the payment and now you will get a booking code.
Keep the booking code with you. Jio agent will ask for booking during delivery of sim card. The sim card should be activated in next 15 days.
