Mumbai, March 29. Enforcement Directorate has issued a lookout circular against journalist Rana Ayub, who is facing investigation in the money laundering case. She was stopped by security at Mumbai airport late on Wednesday night when she was on her way to London. Let us tell you that the central probe agency wants to interrogate Ayub (37) in a money laundering case against him and record his statement.

Rana Ayub has also given this information on Twitter. He told that “I was stopped from going to London by the Immigration Department at Mumbai airport today. I had a speech at an event on bullying of journalists with the International Center for Journalists in London. I was given the keynote address in journalism in Italy soon after. had to go.”

At the same time, it has been told by the officials regarding this incident that Rana Ayub reached Mumbai International Airport to take a flight to London, but immigration officials stopped her from leaving. Soon after, an ED team questioned him at the airport and asked him to join the investigation.

Let us tell you that Rana Ayub is to appear in the ED office on April 1. Officials said that the officers had issued summons to Rana Ayub in this regard. Let us tell you that while acting on Rana Ayub, the ED had attached assets (bank balance) worth Rs 1.7 crore. The ED has alleged that Ayyub had misused the funds of the NGO for relief work.
