Many shows before the film were cancelled. Dhaakad is the most expensive female-led film in Hindi cinema. If we talk about the loss, then it has proved to be the biggest loss making film till date. According to the reports, the film could only do business of Rs 3 crore.
OTT and satellite rights are also not being sold in the film
The weekend performance was so bad that in most places the film was called off from Monday itself. The film has been removed from all the theaters in Mumbai within a week. Due to the miserably flop at the box office, the film’s OTT and satellite rights deal has been directly affected. According to the reports, after the super flop of the film, now its OTT and satellite rights are also not being sold. Because, the makers are not getting any buyer.

In such a situation, now the makers of the film have to struggle a lot even to get a place on OTT. The OTT and Satellite rights of any movie are sold before the movie’s release. Producers get good profits from the earnings after selling the rights to a channel or OTT platform. But nothing like this has happened in the case of ‘Dhaakad’.

Apart from Kangana, the film also stars Arjun Rampal, Divya Dutta and Shashwat Chatterjee in lead roles. Kangana is seen in the role of Agent Agni in the film.
