Dhoni’s staunch fan Lavanya Pilaniya was shocked after meeting the cricketer at Ranchi airport on May 31. After the meeting, Lavanya shared his experience through a post on Instagram, sharing a few pictures with Dhoni.

In the picture, Lavanya is seated in a wheelchair and is seen beaming with joy as she meets her idol. Fan wrote, “The feeling of meeting him is something I can’t describe in words, he is kind, sweet and soft spoken.”

Lavanya told how Dhoni shook hands with him, asked the spelling of his name, shook hands and said ‘don’t cry’, after which Dhoni wiped his tears too. According to Lavanya it was all very good.

Dhoni not only met his fan, but according to Lavanya, he also spent time interacting with him. Lavanya said that the time Dhoni spent with him was a very pleasant experience.

Lavanya also shared that he presented a sketch to Dhoni, for which he thanked him and said he would. In one of the pictures, Dhoni is seen sitting comfortably.

Lavanya wrote that she will always remember the words said by Dhoni.

Lavanya also recalled the moment he told Dhoni “You are very good.”

Dhoni not only impressed Lavanya but also melted the hearts of countless people. A Twitter user also praised the cricketer.
