Ravichandran Ashwin has joined his new franchise Rajasthan Royals after a successful Test series against Sri Lanka and is looking forward to joining the team in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season. Ashwin will play for the 5th team in the IPL. Giving a statement, he said that he knew that this time he would choose Rajasthan Royals in the mega auction.
Ashwin said, “As soon as I saw Rajasthan Royals bidding for me, I knew Rajasthan would pick me in the auction. I have known a lot of people here for a long time, people with whom I talk a lot about cricket. The Royals, to me, are a team that resonates immediately. They have been a different team to me by always being ahead of their time in terms of their planning and approach. The way they look at their cricket, they are very bold and experimental, the way I look at my game, so it should be a good synchronization and I look forward to it.”

Ashwin also shed some light on his possible role in the team. Being one of the most experienced and senior players in the team, Ashwin said, “I feel that contributing to a team is more than just contributing on the ground. I have always been someone who needs to be talked about when it comes to cricket. I enjoy and have been very open to discussing the game with anyone. With my experience and communication skills, I will try to do so with anyone who wants to discuss and hopefully That will make a difference from within the team.
Captain Sanju Samson He said, “I think Sanju has an amazing attitude. He is always open to discussion, open to opinions about the game, so that’s a great quality. I believe Is that Sanju as a wicketkeeper has the vantage point to judge the game with all angles, pitch and how things are going to work. He has age too, and will definitely get better. I hope so This season will be a blockbuster for them.”
