Auspicious time is seen to start the construction of the house, but many people are not able to keep in mind in which direction the foundation should be dug for the construction of the house. In fact, building your own home is one of the biggest tasks in life. Therefore, the direction of digging the foundation should be correct.

In the Indian Muhurta Shastra, some rules have been given for this, seeing which you can also find out in which direction the foundation of the house should be started. First of all, this foundation is always laid in angles and not in directions. That is, the foundation of the house is dug only in the north, south, south or west angle, not in the east, south, west, north direction.

Now before starting the construction of the house, in which direction the foundation should be dug, we have to pay attention to the transit of the Sun. On the day when you are going to start building the house after seeing the auspicious time, according to which zodiac the Sun is transiting on that day, the angle of digging the foundation i.e. the foundation is determined. For the construction of houses, temples and water bodies, different directions come from the sun sign.

for home start

• If the Sun is in Leo, Virgo or Libra on the day of starting the construction of the house, then the foundation should be dug in the igneous angle.
• If the Sun is in Scorpio, Sagittarius or Capricorn on the day of starting the house construction, then the foundation should be dug in the northeast.
• If the Sun is in Aquarius, Pisces or Aries on the day of starting the construction of the house, then the foundation should be dug in the west angle.
• If the Sun is in Taurus, Gemini or Cancer on the day of starting the construction of the house, then the foundation should be dug in the southeast angle.

for temple construction

• If the Sun is in Pisces, Aries or Taurus on the day of starting the construction of the temple, then the foundation should be dug in the igneous angle.
• If the Sun is in Gemini, Cancer or Leo on the day of starting the construction of the temple, then the foundation should be dug in the northeast.
• If the Sun is in Virgo, Libra or Scorpio on the day of starting the construction of the temple, then the foundation should be dug in the west angle.
• If the Sun is in Sagittarius, Capricorn or Aquarius on the day of starting the construction of the temple, then the foundation should be dug in the southeast angle.
