NEET UG 2022: Now not 3, exam will be of 3.20 hours, NTA’s big change for students

Ludhiana, There is relief news for the candidates preparing for NEET UG-2022. Now a major change has been made in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Exam (NEET UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

National Testing Agency (NTA) has said that now students appearing in NEET UG 2022 exam will get 20 minutes extra. In such a situation, now the NEET UG exam will be of 3 hours 20 minutes instead of 3 hours. Experts are also satisfied that the increase in the time limit will bring a lot of relief to the students appearing for the NEET exam.

When was the form for neet-2022 out?
NEET-2022 application form has been released from 6th April 2022. Students can fill the application form till 6th May 2022. As a rule, the application forms will be issued only once in a year. Experts say that students preparing for NEET-2022 should keep in mind that NCERT books of class 11 and 12 are important for each section. NCERT books develop a clear understanding of the basic concepts of its section. Therefore, students must study these books.

How can it be passed?
According to experts, the NEET cutoff for general-PH category will be 45%. Especially, aspirants who aspire to pursue MBBS/BDS abroad need to obtain NEET cutoff percentile and score. Last year, the NEET cutoff score for the general category was 720-147 which was equivalent to the 50th percentile.

  • SC/ST/OBC/Reserved-PH candidates will require 40% marks for NEET 2022. Whereas, for unreserved- pH, this scale is 45%.
