Ever since IPL started we have always seen Dhoni captaining his team in yellow clothes and if you look at the last season he has won the title. It is quite surprising to hear that Dhoni will no longer take charge of CSK.

It was felt that Dhoni would leave the captaincy at the end of the season.

Dhoni has said goodbye to his captaincy career as the second most successful captain in the history of IPL and has won 4 titles for the CSK team. Under his captaincy, the CSK team has made it to the playoffs in every season of the IPL, except IPL 2020. Dhoni has led CSK’s team in 204 IPL matches and has led his team to victory in 121 matches.
