The result of the application process or the final selected list will be released on May 23, 2022. Selected candidates will be informed through their registered mail id. There are total 3614 vacancies including 209 in Northern Sector, 305 in Mumbai Sector, 1434 in Western Sector, 744 in Eastern Sector, 694 in Southern Sector and 228 in Central Sector.
Know what is the age limit of the candidates?
Interested candidates age should be minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 15 May 2022 to apply in Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC). The date of birth of the candidate/applicant should be between 15 May 1998 and 15 May 2004.
These people will get special discount
Upper age is relaxable by 5 years for SC and ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates for the trades reserved for them. Candidates belonging to PWBD categories will be given age relaxation up to 10 years.
Know how much will be the salary?
9,000 per month for graduate apprentices, Rs 7,700 for trade apprentices- one year ITI and 8,050 for two years ITI and 8,000 for diploma apprentices. Not eligible for any TA-DA/meal or living expenses incurred during the period of training. ONGC will not provide any financial assistance for transportation.
How will the candidates be selected
The selection for the appointment of candidates will be based on the marks obtained in the examination and the merit obtained. In case of equal numbers in the qualification, the person with higher age will be considered. Reservation of posts on SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories will be followed as per the policy of Government of India, as applicable for appointment of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
