Paris, 16 March. The tower of France which is famous all over the world and London’s most famous landmark Eiffel Topper has increased by 6 meters in height. That is, the Eiffel Tower has become six meters taller.
A new digital radio antenna has been installed by engineers at the Eiffel Tower in Paris. After which the Eiffel Tower rose by six meters (about 20 feet) on Tuesday. Tourists from the Trocadero Esplanade watched as the new digital radio antenna was airlifted atop a helicopter. With the new antenna, the Eiffel Tower grew to 1,063 feet tall. The Eiffel Tower was 1,024 feet high when it was inaugurated on March 31, 1889.
The President of the Eiffel Tower Company, Jean-François Martins, told The Associated Press that scientific progress is an integral part of the Iron Lady’s 133-year history. Not there.
Martins said, from the invention of the radio in the early 20th century until now, decades later, the Eiffel Tower has been a partner of all radio technology. Built by Gustave Eiffel at the end of the 9th century, the height of this tower has now increased to 330 meters after the installation of the DAB+ (Digital Audio) antenna.
