Rajpal Yadav, Rubina Dilaik, Hiten Tejwani and Kulbhushan Kharbanda starrer Ardh Ek is releasing on ZEE5. It will premiere on June 10. With this film Rubina Dilaik marks her debut in films while on the other hand Rajpal Yadav has been introduced in the film in a never seen before avatar. As shown in the trailer of the film This story showcases how a small town boy, Shiva (Rajpal Yadav), despite being a great theater actor, struggles to become an actor in the city of dreams, Mumbai.

So now to live, eat and earn in the city, he pretends to be a transgender (Parvati) with the help of his wife (Rubina Dilaik) and demands money on local trains and signals in Mumbai. It is the story of a dreamer in Dream City who sets out to find out whether he will be able to fulfill his dreams, or if his dreams are crushed amidst the fast-paced life of Mumbai.

The voice-over of this film is done by popular and veteran actor Jackie Shroff and the songs are sung by Sonu Nigam, Armaan Malik, Palak Muchhal, Rekha Bhardwaj, Rubina Dilaik, Divya Kumar, Parry Ji and Amit Mishra. There are a total of 6 songs in this film, which have been composed by Palash Muchhal, the writer and director of the film.
